I just finished the book yesterday – I even missed church service to stay home and finish the last few chapters  – and what a wonderful book!  First of all – thank you for your friendship, caring and kindness to Beezie and Toddie when all of this was taking place, and thank you for keeping the story alive and fighting for justice and equality all those years ago. I must admit I couldn’t hold back a few tears: tears for all they endured and went through and tears for missing them now.  They both were very unique women  – words in a book could never fully capture their spirit and essence or their tenacity and wisdom. But BETRAYED has certainly come close  – you made them alive for me. Best of luck with the book.  I know it will be a smashing success!
